After 17 years of intense work in the Cultural Centers of Buenos Aires, “El Huemul de la Patagonia”, a work by Silvio Falasconi, under the direction of Rubén D’Audia and Silvio Falasconi, arrives at the emblematic Teatro Politeama. This musical features the participation of more than 12 artists on stage with choreography by Ana Izaguirre and a live rock band, promising a unique and immersive experience.
“El Huemul de la Patagonia” tells the fun adventures of a huemul who, having escaped from the mountain forest, arrives at a small town in Patagonia. On his journey, the huemul faces persecution from a hunter and a circus tamer. However, it has the help of nature and its climatic phenomena, in addition to the occurrences of a puppy, a sapling and a carrot. The work combines humor, mystery and magic, highlighting the importance of caring for the environment and conserving endangered species such as the huemul.
This show has been declared of interest by the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development of the Nation, and of cultural and educational interest by the Chilean Embassy in Argentina.
