On Friday morning, around 7:30, a taxi driver was the victim of a violent robbery at the intersection of Lisandro de la Torre and Gaboto, that is, in the heart of the Santa Rosa de Lima neighborhood.

The victim, a 52-year-old man, had taken a passenger on the corner of Francia and Salta. The alleged client requested to be taken to the Children’s Hospital, but during the trip he changed the route, which alerted the driver. In response to this situation, the worker activated the anti-panic button.

The disturbing image reflects the degree of violence that the event had.

And when they arrived at Lisandro de la Torre and Gaboto everything got worse. The “passenger” began to threaten the taxi driver with a knife, trying to stab him. After a brief struggle, the thief managed to steal the wallet containing the proceeds and personal documents, and then fled. While fleeing from him, he left the knife stuck in the seat of the vehicle.

Personnel from the Radioelectric Command were present at the scene and interviewed the worker, who confirmed that he will proceed to file the corresponding complaint during the day.

For their part, the officers went to the jurisdiction’s police station to leave the relevant proceedings and continue the investigation to find the perpetrator of the incident.
