In a day of integration and in favor of the environment, the Urbaser company brought together members of the community and the ‘Pa’ Sumercé’ hiking group.

The event was attended by 110 people who actively participated in planting native species such as: Smooth holly, prickly holly, dipper and jasminewhich now beautify the Las Pilas property, an area near the Pirgua Ecological and Technological Park.

In a demonstration of commitment to the environment and sustainability, Urbaser, with the support of the hiking group “Pa’ Sumercé” carried out a successful walk that closed with a day of tree planting.

“We took the walk between the Pirgua path in our capital of Boyacá, passing through the Urbaser Ecological and Technological Park and culminating in Oicatá,” reported the company in charge of the collection and disposal of solid waste in Tunja.

And then they advanced the day of planting more than one hundred native trees, which will contribute to the environment of the region.

“This initiative is part of Urbaser’s continuous efforts to promote a sustainable future and encourage environmental conservation,” they said.
