The day before the conflict, the employees had been notified not to attend, due to the lack of materials to work with, the delay in the payment of their salaries and the costs of daily transportation. Since then, the dismissed employees spend the night in the factory and They are supported by popular pots waiting for the response committed by the Government.

“We are still here in this fight and we are firm,” said Vanesa, one of the spokespersons. “By our own decision we have closed the machine area and we are living where the offices and warehouse were,” she explained in an interview.

In the kitchen they store food that they receive as donations or those that they can purchase, and they take turns both cooking and staying at night.
