On Thursday afternoon an event occurred in the center of Manizales where two men traveling on a bicycle tried to steal a cell phone from a pedestrian in the Plaza de BolívarWhen he resisted, they injured his face with a sharp weapon.
24 hours after the events, Police authorities managed to capture the second criminal who had been identified by the cameras in the city center.
The man was intercepted when he was traveling on a bus bound for the town of Irra, in Quinchía in the department of Risaralda.This was highlighted by the Secretary of the Interior Paula Andrea Sánchez.
“Every time a crime is committed in Manizales, the criminals will be pursued until they are captured,” said the official.
The injured young man is recovering in a healthcare center in Manizales where he was referred after the injuries received.
