Within the framework of investigations carried out by the “La Rioja” Complex Crimes and Judicial Procedures Investigation Unit of the National Gendarmerie, four citizens of Argentine nationality who were members of a narcocriminal organization were arrested.

By order of the intervening Magistrate, the judicial measures were carried out which allowed the seizure of 114.89 grams of cocaine, 219 grams of marijuana, 174 cannabis sativa seeds, two precision scales; a 22 caliber weapon and six ammunition, 253 ammunition of different calibers; 3,491,300 pesos and 1,100 dollars in cash; three cars, four motorcycles, six cell phones, and four laptops.

These procedures are related to the operational activity carried out last Tuesday, June 18, with the support of the “Talamuyuna” Group, which was located on National Route No. 38 and at kilometer 391, when they controlled a vehicle from La Rioja. capital with final destination Chilecito. Three people were traveling in the vehicle transporting 247 grams of cocaine. They were detained.

Continuing with the investigation, the Federal Court of La Rioja ordered the nine raids to be carried out.

Members of the Investigations and Procedures Operational Group, together with personnel from the “Nucleus” Section and “Aimogasta” Section of Squadron 24, seized a total of 121 grams of cocaine, 1.8 grams of marijuana, a precision scale, a firearm and four cartridges, 829,910 pesos, a vehicle and a motorcycle and seven mobile devices.
