At the headquarters itself, the always innovative children’s clubs “El patio de mi casa” will take place, with the magical preparation of the writer Lidia Meriño; On the last Saturdays the invitation goes to the Anido family, another event that brings together artistic manifestations and to which Marta gives the touch of distinction with her anecdotes.
For her part, the teacher and musicographer Isabel Díaz de la Torre has already announced her guests for the Sunday concerts: June will end with the Ars Nova Ancient Music Ensemble, in July in the style of Yaila Corcho and in August there will be Marcos Miguel and his guests.
A tour of artists and writers under the idea “From love to heartbreak and vice versa” will reach Ranchuelo, Placetas, Corralillo, Cifuentes, Santo Domingo, Quemado de Güines, Remedios and here in Santa Clara the chosen space is the El Mejunje cultural center.
In the summer program they conceived a concert by Maikel’s Cuartet; recitals regarding the City Foundation Literary Award and the “Santa Clara, qué te vera” floral games, on the day she celebrates her 335th birthday. As an August special, she announces “El verso por Fidel”, with poems recited by actors.
Although our artists will be committed to other projects, recitals, galas and tributes, you already knew that the Villa Clara UNEAC Provincial Committee has conceived its own promising summer 2024 plan.
