A knife fight occurred this Saturday afternoon at the shopping center Tortugas Open Mall (TOM)in the Province of Buenos Aires, and so far it would have left a balance of six wounded.

The incident took place around 6:00 p.m. in the shopping center located on the Pan-American Highway at kilometer 36.5. There, two groups of young people – most of them minors – gathered in the parking lot with several blunt objects, including stones and knives.

Then, they entered the food court sector through the main door and began to riot. There were fights and destruction.

Several families had to run to avoid being caught in the middle of the attacks. The stores, as a precaution, began to lower their blinds and the employees took refuge inside the establishments.

The videos that went viral on social networks show running, shouting and confrontations between young people. All these events forced police intervention, which fortunately managed to contain the situation.

So far, the bloody episode has left six young people wounded, all between 14 and 16 years old. A 15-year-old boy had to be taken to a health center because he suffered a cut to his abdomen and right leg.

In addition, a 15-year-old minor was arrested and a kitchen knife was found in his possession and he was identified by witnesses as one of the aggressors. The San Martín Youth UFI intervenes.
