The Government of Córdoba, through the Secretariat for Equality for Women, Children, Adolescents and the Elderly, launched the Pink Line, a new care tool for victims of violence in the department.

The main objective of the Pink Line is to inform citizens about the routes and protection measures available, in addition to offering psychological, legal and social work support to those who need it.

Claudia García Martínez, Secretary of the aforementioned agency, explained: “People who have difficulties, who feel threatened or who are victims of any type of violence, can immediately contact our interdisciplinary team by calling the Pink Line. “We will provide them with the guidance they need to protect their rights.”.

The service is available from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, and from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, through the telephone number 317 369 9932. This initiative seeks to prevent and detect possible cases of violence, thus guaranteeing the effective enjoyment of women’s rights and promoting a gender equity approach in the care and protection of victims.

With the implementation of the Pink Line, the Government of Córdoba intends to consolidate a comprehensive support system that allows victims to quickly and effectively access the resources and help necessary to overcome situations of violence.
