Around 3:30 in the afternoon this Saturday, June 22, a spectacular traffic accident in the El Olivo neighborhood, in the town of Kennedysouth of the capital.

Witnesses to the events report that a truck that was traveling along the avenue lost control and It collided with the facade of a house where two uniformed officers were standing.

The police officers were seriously injured and were taken to Kennedy Hospital where they receive medical attention.

It is said that one of them could suffer a head trauma and has fractures in the hip, chest and femur.

The Bogotá Metropolitan Police indicated that The driver of the vehicle was apparently intoxicated.

Authorities are awaiting the results of toxicology tests. Meanwhile, the driver was placed at the disposal of the competent authorities.
