Preventive prison for a couple of neighborhood drug traffickers in Santa Fe

A 59-year-old man whose initials are FFC and a 33-year-old woman with the initials RMVL were remanded in preventive detention within the framework of an investigation being processed by the MPA for activities linked to the sale of drugs in the city of Santa Fe. The precautionary measures They were imposed by Judge Nicolás Falkenberg following the request made by prosecutor María Laura Urquiza in a hearing that took place in the courts of the provincial capital.

In addition to the two people who were deprived of their liberty, four other people were also charged. These are three men whose initials are MAC, 67 years old; MAC 47 and BSK 38, and a 31-year-old woman with the initials RSR.

In accordance with what was resolved at the hearing, the procedural situation of the three accused men will be discussed at a hearing on Tuesday. Prosecutor Urquiza announced that she will request the preventive detention of the three.

For her part, the woman regained her freedom, but must comply with rules of conduct while she continues to be investigated.

According to Urquiza, “all the people were arrested on Saturday of last week in the framework of raids carried out by the Investigative Police in different homes in the city.” In this regard, he clarified that “after the operation, narcotics, elements for their division and money in pesos and dollars that all the accused had in their possession were seized.”

In relation to the attributed facts, Urquiza specified that “the two men with the initials MAC are father and son and they acted with the collaboration of the woman with the initials RSR.”

The MPA official reported that “at least since last month, those investigated sold and divided narcotics in a house located at 6,900 Miter.” She indicated that “at the time of the raid, three nylon bags and two glossy papers containing 45.51 grams of cocaine, elements to fragment the drug and 182,380 pesos in cash were found.”

On the other hand, Urquiza explained that “the man with the initials BSK and the woman with the initials RMVL are a couple and also had narcotic material in their possession for the purpose of being marketed.” In this case, the prosecutor indicated that “they operated in a house located in Vieytes at 3,800 and had in their possession 10 grams of marijuana and 69 of cocaine, as well as a precision scale, a bill counting machine, 329,900 pesos in cash and 30 US dollars.”

In relation to FFC, the MPA official maintained that “she has a family relationship with the men with the initials MAC and had cocaine for marketing purposes in her home located in Alvear at 7,600.” In this sense, she specified that “45.3 grams of narcotic material were seized in two heat-sealed wrappers, elements for its division and the sum of 785,220 pesos in cash.”

The men with the initials MAC and the woman with the initials RSR are investigated as co-authors of possession of narcotics for the purpose of aggravated marketing (due to the participation of three or more people).

Meanwhile, BSK and RMVL were attributed co-authorship of possession of narcotics for marketing purposes. For his part, FFC is investigated for the same crime but as the author.
