The Santa Fe Women’s Soccer Cup continues with its second stage, in which all the first leg matches have already been played. On Saturday there were two meetings. Firstly, Unión defeated Gimnasia de Vera 6-0, with two goals from Emilse Albornos, two from Daiana Sosa, one from Melina Reus and another from Camila Acevedo.
Also on Saturday, Atlético de Rafaela beat Libertad de Sunchales as a visitor by 4 to 1. Agostina Monroig, Camila Juárez and Eliana López twice scored the goals for La Crema.
Meanwhile, the rest of the pending matches were played on Sunday. In Villa Ocampo, Racing El Campesino tied 1-1 against Defensores de la Costa de Avellaneda.
For its part, Argentino de San Carlos beat Polideportivo José Arijón 1-0 at home. Unión San Pedro fell 3 to 0 at home against Sportsman de Roldán; ADIUR beat Barrio Vila 7 to 3 as a visitor and Totoras Juniors defeated Jorge Newbery 1 to 0 in Venado Tuerto with a goal from Priscila Velázquez.
We remember that the round of 16 has a series completed: Aprendices Casildenses left Argentino de Firmat on the road by defeating him in both games during the last week.
The rest of the rematches will be played next weekend, and the teams that qualify for the quarterfinals will win a prize of 500,000 pesos.
