After a long weekend with adverse weather, the city of Buenos Aires and surrounding areas woke up this Monday with good weather conditions. According to meteorologist Christian Garavaglia, from the specialized site Meteoredthe arrival of a new cold front in Patagonia will cause a “rapid deterioration” of the weather starting Tuesday, with new snowfalls that will affect the mountain area until at least next Thursday, accompanied at times by intense winds.
Given this scenario, it is likely that this low pressure system will cause new snowfall in areas of Santa Cruz and Chubut, thus adding greater accumulation of snow and registering low temperatures.

According to the temperatures that are expected for this week, Santa Cruz tops the list of provinces that will be hit by extreme cold: this Monday, the minimum in Río Gallegos will be -11 degrees and, on Saturday, it will drop to -15 degrees.
