This weekend, the contest and the provincial qualifying round took place to compete in the Federal Chefs Tournament. Among the three best dishes, the one from the Concordia competitors was chosen.

Seven teams composed of a chef and an assistant, competed this weekend in Paraná and prepared elite regional dishes, to find out who will represent the province of Entre Ríos in the Federal Capital, during the Federal Chefs Tournament that will take place from the 28th to August 30, next.

Competitors from the Paraná coast and Uruguay participated, but only three of them were chosen as the three best.

First place went to “JUSTO Restaurante Hotel Maran”, second place went to the restaurant “Hotel Termas Victoria” and third place went to the city of Concordia with its representation by “Lapiduz Gastronómica”.

While special mentions were also awarded, for example to the “Best Mouthful Dish”, which went to the people of “Lapiduz Gastronomic”, with their blue cheese and pecan nut bonbon dish, in gizzard and chocolate pirotin.

Another mention went to “Coliseo Eventos”, with its “Plato Farse” of four proteins.

In this context, Leandro Lapiduz coordinator of FEHGRA for the NEA, highlighted that “with the presence of seven teams of chefs in this round, Entre Ríos shows that it wants to be a protagonist of national gastronomy. In Paraná all the dishes received scores above 80, that is, the level we manage is with a high bar.”
