The Civil Guard has arrested two people, residents of the Riojan municipalities of Autol and Quel, for stealing ten tons of oranges from the Valencia Midnight variety in the Castellón town of Onda, as reported by the armed institute in a statement. The Rock Team of the Burriana Civil Guard began an investigation following the theft of ten tons of oranges of the Valencia Midnight variety in an orchard located in the town of Onda. Numerous efforts were made where the civil guards managed to identify the alleged perpetrators of the incident, two male residents of La Rioja. Thanks to the collaboration with the ROCA Team of Calahorra (La Rioja) they were able to be arrested and charged with the crime of theft. These two people were traveling from Autol and Quel (La Rioja) to the town of Onda. During dusk and nightfall they accessed the plot after cutting a cable that blocked the entrance to the access road to the field and, later, they returned it to the original position and thus avoided being detected if people passed through the place. Likewise, from the investigations obtained during the investigation, they could be attributed a crime of receiving, when they located 700 kilos of Lane-Late variety oranges in their vehicle that they were trying to introduce into the market. The proceedings have been sent to the Courts of Nules (Castellón).
