Jairo Alexander Jaimes Moyano, 35 years old, who remained in the Santander Prosecutor’s Office bunker, captured for homicide, escaped from those facilities in Bucaramanga. The fact is investigated.
Jairo Alexander Jaimes Moyano, alias ‘Farándula’, escaped from the facilities of the Santander Sectional Attorney General’s Office, located on Carrera 19 and Calle 24 in the Alarcón neighborhood of Bucaramanga.
Vanguardia learned that he escaped from the bunker around 3:00 pm on Saturday, June 22, after jumping out of a window.

The authorities have not released further details of this escape, which is being investigated by the Prosecutor’s Office, to establish whether or not there was responsibility on the part of the custodians.
The escape was brought to the attention of the Bucaramanga Metropolitan Police so that they can carry out search operations that allow the recapture of Jaimes Moyano, 35 years old.
Who is alias ‘Farándula’?
Alias ’Farándula’ was arrested on April 18, for allegedly being involved in the murder of Ronald Johan Gustavo Mantilla, 25 years old.
The homicide occurred at 12:30 noon on December 25, during the Christmas celebration. That day, Jairo Alexander had arrived in a car to the El Campanazo sector, in Floridablanca, to talk with Mantilla, who made a living working as a domiciliary worker.
“In the cameras you can see a car, Kia Río brand, whose license plates were under investigation by our units. The driver called Mantilla and they talked for a few minutes,” the police report reads.
After an exchange of words, the now fugitive pulled out a firearm and shot the home repeatedly.
One of the impacts was on the right buttock. Mantilla was helped by a police patrol that took him to the Foscal Clinic, while the aggressor fled. At 1:00 pm on December 26, Ronald Johan passed away while receiving medical attention.

‘Farándula’ was captured on 32nd Street and 21st Street in the Antonia Santos neighborhood, downtown Bucaramanga, four months after the crime.
The Prosecutor’s Office charged Jaimes Moyano with aggravated homicide and illegal possession of firearms. Although he did not accept his responsibility, a judge had ordered him to be detained in a prison.
