San Antonio Kingdom confirmed the location to receive University of Chilefor the quarterfinals of the regional phase of the Chile Cup 2024where the first leg will be played at the Nicolás Chahuán stadium in La Calera on Friday.
For this reason, one of the protagonists of the port team is preparing to face one of his former teams, where Ramón Fernández assures that they are ready for this reunion.
“We knew and we wanted the U to be ours, we prepared the game against La Calera to win. Although we are used to the natural field, we had never played in Cartagena, but we were able to maintain the idea. But we wanted to face the U, the group wants to go play and there are several of us who passed by and what could be nicer than facing a former team,” Fernández commented on TNT Sports.
In that sense, in his role as leader, he assumes importance within the dressing room, in the company of Roberto Cereceda and Nicolás Maturana, to face the U again, which he calls a special duel.

They listen to the older ones and it will be nice with the U, which is the best team in Chilean soccer and I hope we can compete,” he explained.
A special duel for him, despite the fact that he also defended the Colo Colo shirt (where his son is currently in the youth team), which he hopes will be a special moment for his family.
“I always said it, I had a good time on both teams because I played a lot. But I do have the great memory that it was the first big team in the country, that I have great memories. One for the Copa Libertadores in Uruguay, where I scored a goal against Defensor Sporting. In the tournament I scored many goals and I felt comfortable, as well as in my time in Colo Colo,” he said.
