Dr. Claudia Alejandra Elisandro from the López Lima Hospital in General Roca was dismissed by the Government of Río Negro due to several serious misconduct committed during this year.
Among the causes of the layoff, the doctor’s unjustified absence from her workplace from February 1 to March 29, 2024 also stands out. During this period, the professional did not provide any valid justification for her absence, which led the Disciplinary Board to take action in this regard.
Furthermore, it was determined that the doctor abandoned the medical treatment indicated by the Horizonte Occupational Risk Insurance Company (ART), which constitutes a serious breach of the work and professional obligations that corresponded to her.
The Government of Río Negro has intensified the process of reviewing the State and controlling absenteeism, with the aim of providing better service to the residents of Río Negro and reducing operating costs. The decision of the Disciplinary Board, based on the seriousness of the offenses committed, seeks to guarantee the professional ethics and commitment of all members of the López Lima Hospital health team.
This measure reinforces the provincial government’s commitment to transparency and efficiency in public service, ensuring that professionals fulfill their responsibilities and maintain the standards necessary for quality care to the community.
