For the moment, Estíbaliz Canto from Alava, former councilor in Vitoria and responsible for Festivals for years, and Adrián Fernández Rivas, former advisor to the Basque Government, former leader of the Socialist Youth of Madrid and “best speaker in Spain” have already joined the socialist bench. ” in 2020 for winning a college debate league. There is a fourth councilor with a seat, Nerea Melgosa (Wellbeing, Youth and Demographic Challenge), from the PNV side. The new Pradales Government has more members than ever, sixteen in total including the Lehendakari. The Basque Parliament does not have physical space for all of them on the Executive bench.
