Sinkhole on 9 de Julio and Bulevar
The work of Aguas Santafesinas SA continues in the sinkhole on 9 de Julio and Bulevar, and Starting this Tuesday at 6 p.m., vehicular traffic will be enabled in one lane on the south side of the Boulevard towards the east.
Furthermore, from the Santa Fe municipality they indicated that Light traffic is enabled on 9 de Julio to Bulevar with a right turn but it will not be possible to continue north.
Dario Boscarol, director of Aguas Santafesinas SA, provided details of the work in the area. “The heavy cleaning of the sector was completed, all the remains of concrete and collapse in it were completed, and the foot of the conduit was excavated. When this cleaning is finished, on Wednesday we will have a key meeting to define what the intervention will be to rectify or fix the entire duct.”, he indicated.
“We have three alternatives that we are evaluating and before the end of the week we will define and visit so that the actual repairs of the main conduit can begin”advancement.
“It depends on the methodology we adopt for the repair but from what I have been analyzing and seeing the different alternatives, I estimate that in less than 60 days we have to have the entire sector enabled, regardless of whether there may be any repair after we close and let’s rectify the chamber and the sector duct”, he warned.
