On the negative side, the medalists of the 2023 edition had to give up their participation at the last minute, Laura Moreno Resa (karate), due to a last-minute injury, and Christopher M. Rufft (weightlifting) due to academic obligations. Likewise, María Ilarraz Pardos (triathlon) could not participate due to an injury.

The degrees with the highest number of students have been the degrees of Primary Education, Early Childhood Education, Mathematics and Nursing. For its part, female participation has amounted to 28 women, which represents 42% of the total participating students.

The athletes have become part of the TUDAR Program, which provides academic support and tutoring to athletes so that they can combine their studies with high-level sport.

The delegation was presented on March 19 at the university itself by Fabiola Portillo Pérez de Viñaspre, vice-rector for Social Responsibility, José Luis Pérez Pastor, Minister of Culture, Tourism and Sports of the Government of La Rioja and Diego Azcona, general director of Sports and Youth, in addition to Fernando Goded and Esther Gargallo, Head of the Sports Activities Service and head of the TUDAR Program of the University of La Rioja, respectively.
