Flor Destéfanis regretted the Government’s decision regarding the IDR and the IDC

The Peronist leader was consulted by journalists at the presentation of the Ñacuñán Challenge, a competition that will be held in August and she did not avoid the answer: ““We regret this decision because the two organizations have been key to the development of many projects not only in Santa Rosa, but throughout the region.”

Flor added that the “IDR and the IDC are institutions with a lot of history and with very good workers, who have always collaborated with our producers.”

Destéfanis spoke about the Base Law and municipal co-participation

Detéfanis considered that “the debate on the Base Law today is media and political but it has no place in the people and in the daily lives of each of the Mendoza residents.”

Regarding co-participation, the head of the PJ said that “with the approved modifications, Santa Rosa is the same, it neither wins nor loses.”

“However,” he warned, “we have been repeating that we must go to the underlying issue. Today, the 18 municipalities are covering competencies that have historically belonged to the Province, such as security, education, maintenance of schools, housing. There is much more responsibility and it is not consistent with the resources we receive. “We want to put that up for debate.”

The Ñacuñán Challenge

The Fourth edition of the Ñacuñan Terra Trail Challenge 2024 will be on August 11.
