Nearly 4,500 visitors enjoyed the exhibition of the Los Incas troupe – News

Within the framework of the linkage actions and the “Culture a lo Grande” project organized by the Municipality through the Active Culture Agency together with the General Directorate of Older Adults, guided visits were made to the City Museum.

The exhibition “Las Comparsas, the most popular festival: The Incas: history, design and color” was held in the historic building during the months of May and June. It has been visited by more than 4,000 people, including local public and tourists from different parts of the country and abroad.

Guided visits were made to institutions such as tertiaries, schools and colleges, as well as to Senior Adult Clubs, with the attendance of a total of 460 people. Receiving among them the Center for Retirees and Pensioners “Unión y Esperanza”, Association of Municipal Retirees and Pensioners, foundations such as “Hogares en Riesgo” and “Sol Esperanza”.

And to establishments such as Colegio Salesiano, Santo Tomás de Aquino, School No. 4.0022 Dr. B. Zorrilla, Instituto Superior Profesional de Salta No. 6.005 of the Technician in Tourism, Kindergarten of Villa Lavalle, Escuela Cristóbal Colón.

In this exhibition, details were revealed about one of the most important cultural and social expressions of Salta, such as the Corsicans, more precisely from the Los Incas troupe, one of the longest-lived, awarded and recognized. They were also able to try on the masks and hats that were on display.

The closing was done with the ritual of incense in the historic building to attract prosperity, health and work success, together with Héctor Colque, chief of the Comparsa Los Incas.

The Museum located at Peatonal Florida 97, is preparing for the opening of its next exhibition on July 3, under the name “Gabriel Guaira Castilla: The Magic of Puppets.”
