“In fact, there are quite heavy rains in sectors of the Atlantic, due to the passage of tropical waves. These two phenomena are generating a lot of cloudiness. We have reports of rain quite intense for the city of Barranquilla and that could decrease from Friday and weekend,” he said.

Arango said that there is an orange alert due to possible overflows of streams in Juan de Acosta, Tubará and Puerto Colombia. Also there is an orange alert for possible landslides in Juan de Acosta, Luruaco and Repelón.
