This Friday, June 28, a case was reported at the festivities of San Juan and San Pedro in Neiva, Huilahow they mistreat animals. This situation generated outrage on social media, given that no comments have been made by the authorities regarding this incident.
Let us remember that in these festivities it is common to see horseback riding during the celebration, however, through social networks it was evident how several participants in this celebration decide to go overboard with the animals; where horses are shown in terrible conditions.

Situation for which the senator of the party Green Alliance, Andrea Padilla Villarragadenounced on his X account the situation of these horses that were surrounded by the crowd without receiving help. He stated that this situation only occurred with drunks who attend these events.
Similarly, the public official mentioned that in the first video a horse ended up fainting due to dehydration. Later, she stated that in the second recording where a mare ended up being thrown into the river after dying, which caused her discomfort because she mentioned that there is no right in this situation.
