Calderón explained that “during the celebrations for Córdoba CF’s promotion, in the midst of the euphoria and emotion of the moment, I made some comments that I had no intention of making.”
He insisted on his desire to “sincerely apologize to all those who may have felt offended by my words” and acknowledged that “my comments were inappropriate.”
“I deeply regret any misunderstanding. I want to make it clear that I respect everyone and that my words do not reflect my true values. I will continue to strive to represent the club with the respect and dignity that we all deserve,” he said.
