Libro Libre is a citizen initiative that promotes an urban network of book exchange points that are installed in the streets of Córdoba, mainly in parks, gardens and public squares. The objective of this network is to generate and multiply the person-to-person exchange of books in these spaces, thereby bringing books and reading (as knowledge and as entertainment) closer to all citizens, while at the same time demanding an act of occupation, participation and use of public space.

These exchange points operate mainly in a self-managed manner, so participation and care by citizens and other social agents, such as associations, educational centres, groups, companies, etc., is essential.
