In compliance with the school calendar established in Resolution 1187 of October 2023, the Departmental Government, through the Departmental Education Secretariat, leads the Institutional Development Week of Human Talent Training from June 24 to 30 with close participation of 7,000 teachers and teaching managers from official schools, which will emphasize the review or adjustments of the institutional educational project, the analysis of the Individual Reasonable Adjustment Plans (PIAR) and the Universal Design for Learning (UDA).

During this week, the results of the 2023 Saber 11 tests and the simulations carried out during this first semester will also be analyzed to strengthen the strategies of basic areas and the skills of students in grades 3, 5, 9 and 11, through the delivery of materials, teacher training and support for students.
This constant preparation and training of teachers, promoted by the Government of Magdalena, is a policy implemented with a view to quality, an entire plan that divided the way education was served in two.

The Secretary of Education, Yesid González Perdomo, indicated that “during this week we have also arranged a space for our teachers to reflect on the Pedagogical Transformation in Magdalena through a virtual meeting led by the Alberto Merani Institute, headed by its director, educator Julián de Zubiría.”

During the Institutional Development Week in the department, teachers will also work on topics such as updating the Environmental Educational Projects (PRAE), the Institutional Educational Project (PEI), aligning the municipal and departmental Development Plans and planning activities for back to school set for Monday, July 8
