H. Córdoba, Ver. June 26, 2024.- The Córdoba City Council chaired by Juan Martínez Flores promotes the enthusiasm of entrepreneurial children, women and the organized commercial and business sector, said Daniel Hernández del Ángel, director of Social Development after launching the “Entrepreneurship Fair” carried out by fifth-year students from the Guillermo A. Sherwell elementary school, installed on Calle de las Fuentes in the center of the city.
He highlighted the importance of children having theoretical knowledge in the classrooms and putting what they have learned into practice, and the city council collaborates by offering them spaces and letting them know that their voices are also heard.
“We have municipal offices in the Córdoba City Council where women entrepreneurs are supported; We have Community Development Centers where the population is encouraged with workshops and they also develop their micro and small businesses; There is an office serving merchants and businessmen organized in Chambers; and in the Directorate of Social Development, we also serve the children who will be the future entrepreneurs, merchants and those who will direct the course of Córdoba.”
The children, with the support of their teachers and parents, set up businesses selling products and services which were developed in the classrooms, created concepts and took the opportunity to bring them to reality in the center of the city to live the experience of participating in productive life. .
