Due to the adverse weather conditions affecting the province, Chubut Deportes announced the suspension of all sports activities planned for the rest of June and during the month of July.
This measure affects programs such as the Patagonia Games, Patagonian Integration Games and the Araucanía Binational Games.
The decision was communicated by the Sports Management of Chubut Deportes, highlighting that the absolute priority is to preserve the physical integrity and well-being of all participants, including athletes, teachers and coordinators. This action is based on avoiding unnecessary risks in the face of unstable weather conditions typical of the winter season.
During the month of July, a detailed schedule of possible sporting events for the month of August will be prepared. This schedule will include information on disciplines, dates and venues, with the expectation of being able to resume the planned activities with the provincial teams in a safe environment.
The continuous evaluation of climatic and sanitary conditions will be essential to determine the viability of sporting events.
Chubut Deportes committed to keeping all federations, associations, sports entities and athletes involved informed, ensuring immediate communication as soon as the new dates and conditions for the resumption of activities are defined.
