During 2023, the mayor Mariano Gaido toured the Technological Pole of Houston, one of the most important in the United States, and signed a Cooperation and Reciprocal Assistance agreement with the Argentine – Texan Chamber of Commerce (ATCC) with the political definition of strengthening the knowledge and technology economy in the city of Neuquén.

The vice president of ATCC, Ariel Bosio, highlighted that the activities that were carried out with Mayor Gaido had to do with telling him and showing him the growth that Houston had over time, and he considered that Neuquén is a “sister city” due to the characteristics they have, since the oil activity plays a predominant role.

He spoke about the importance of the collaboration between the universities that was agreed on Thursday, and appreciated that this morning “we were visiting the Houston Technology Center.
