The Ministry of Justice, through the Refugee Assistance Office, and the Migrants Foundation will carry out the election of the 2024 Cultural Ambassador of the migrant community, scheduled for July 28 at the Provincial Theater.
The aim of this initiative is to disseminate the rich cultural diversity brought by the different migrant communities in Salta, and to promote inclusion and education on migration issues.
In this framework, the candidates for ambassadors from Argentina, Bolivia, Mexico, India, Uruguay, Japan, Syria, Venezuela, Senegal and Italy were presented, whose mission is to publicize the culture of their countries of origin. The presentation took place at the Artisan Market.
Director of Access to Justice, Florence Resinreported that this first election of the Cultural Ambassador 2024 will consist of three presentations, one with typical costumes, evening costumes and one more in presentation costumes, which will allow the richness and beauty of the cultures they represent to be shown.
For his part, the president of the Migrants Foundation, Francisco Capasso, He highlighted that the ambassador candidates are examples of leadership and commitment to their communities, and their participation in the program is a reflection of their dedication to promoting cultural diversity.
The election of the 2024 Cultural Ambassador will feature the participation of local and national artists who will complement the celebration of cultural diversity. It will be open to the public.
