After the resounding success of their book “Soltar para Ser Feliz”, Mario Massaccesi and Patricia Daleiro have decided to take their message to the stage with an innovative theatrical proposal. This work, which combines humor, emotion and personal stories, seeks to help the viewer answer the question: What is letting go and how is it done?
Massaccesi spoke with HUARPE DIARY about the proposal that reaches the province.
A toolbox
“Soltar para Ser Feliz” was published in November 2020 and quickly became a publishing phenomenon, reaching its ninth edition and remaining at the top of sales.
Mario said that they found the theater a magical space to share their message. “We talk about all the letting go: letting go of toxic relationships, guilt, and mandates. We speak from our own perspective to have a conversation with others,” he commented.
Furthermore, the live show means a pause in time. “Something we say at the beginning is that we have to pause to talk and talk to (us), to look and look at (us),” he added.
As in their books, the show is a dynamic collaboration between Mario and Patricia, with both sharing the spotlight and their life stories. The play offers a mix of personal anecdotes and deep reflections, giving the audience practical tools to let go of what they no longer want and reconnect with their dreams and desires.
