SLP’s Juárez distributor will debut murals on Xantolo with the art of Moon Venture

The potosina muralist Moon Venture Since last week it began with the intervention on the columns of Distribuidor Juárez, as part of the new gallery that will be launched in this place with the main theme being the Xantoloa Potosí festival of Huastec origin.

Moon Venture shared to EL UNIVERSAL of San Luis Potosí her satisfaction at capturing a work for the first time in a public space in her city of origin, because although the illustrator has carried out important works in large cities inside and outside the country, she recognized that it is the first time that she has painted a public project for San Luis Potosi.

The illustration in which the young woman from Potosí works will have as its main element “duality”, one of the most important symbols of the festival of the living for the dead, which represents the fusion of life and death, as well as good. and evil.

The Juárez distributor gallery became relevant in August 2020, the year that the pandemicsince the artist from Potosí, supported by state authorities, used the columns of the distributor as canvases and paid tribute to health personnel who at that time were on the front line of the battle against the disease.

Later, more illustrations were added to remember the victims of Covid-19.

Monserrat Venture is an illustrator from Potosí who has raised the name of San Luis Potosí nationally and internationally.

The young designer, a graduate of the Faculty of Habitat at the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí (UASLP), has been considered by Forbes on his list of the 100 most creative Mexicans.

The artist has been Recognized as one of the Women to Watch by EL UNIVERSALin addition to having collaborated with Google through various campaigns.

Moon’s art has been based mainly on illustrations with female figures, which has led her to be part of major campaigns with brands such as: NBA, Adidas, Netflix, Lactacyd México, Cerveza Victoria, Benito Santos México, Amnesty International, MiBici Pública, Sistema de Bicicletas Públicas Jalisco, 4PL México, Cerveza Calavera, Cerveza Impetuosa, Melissa Shoes, Flink MX, Bioderma, among others.
