This weekend the community of Puerto Gaviota is preparing to enthusiastically celebrate its 28th anniversary. The festivities promise to be an unforgettable event full of activities designed for the entire family.
From sports games to recreational and environmental activities, the community will be able to enjoy a baby soccer championship in various categories, gymkhana games, bag races, and traditional card games such as trick and treat.
In addition, a significant beach cleanup will be carried out, highlighting the community commitment to caring for the environment.
One of the most anticipated moments will be on Saturday, with the traditional Paseo de San Pedro, followed by a community dinner where stories and anecdotes from Puerto Gaviota’s past will be shared. The evening will continue with a lively party entertained by the musical group “La Response”, ensuring a festive and emotional atmosphere for all attendees.
The mayor of the Cisnes commune, Francisco Roncagliolo, highlighted the importance of the festival. “From the municipality, we are very happy to support and be part of this special celebration that recognizes the effort and growth of our community throughout these 25 years,” he expressed.
“We hope that all residents and visitors will join in these festivities to celebrate together and strengthen the cultural and historical heritage of the town,” added the mayor.
