Proyectar Córdoba closed announcing that there will be a third edition

The second edition of Proyectar Córdoba, in which the Second Forum on Development and Construction was held, ended yesterday with a dinner celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Chamber of Urban Developers of Córdoba (Ceduc).

More than 40 exhibitors from the development and construction chain participated in the event, whose leitmotiv was “thinking about the city of the future.”

Over the course of two days, training activities were held by local, national and international specialists; business roundtables were held and new projects, services and products were presented. Among other topics, the current economic context, the reality of the sector, the latest trends, sustainability, the credit market, technologies and new housing formats were analyzed.

But the main conclusion is that there will be a third edition next year and that they hope that the event will become part of the annual agenda of activities in the city of Córdoba.

“We are surprised and grateful for the success of the event. The first edition was a great challenge that we faced at Ceduc and this year it turned out even better, since we grew in the number of exhibitors and the number of visitors,” said the president of the chamber, Roque Lenti.

The exhibition was held at the Córdoba Convention Centre, with an exhibition space of 5,000 m2.

One of the highlights was the business roundtables. Nearly 600 meetings were held with the participation of more than 2,300 businesspeople and professionals. This space proved to be fundamental for the generation of new opportunities and strategic links in the sector.

Mayor Daniel Passerini and all the presidents of Ceduc over two decades participated in the dinner. In this frame, The voice gave recognition to the entity for its 20 years, while Ceduc gave a distinction to The voice.

A good time for the sector

The second day of the event began with the dissertation of the graduate and coach ontological in development of teams and people, Sebastián Rivero, who spoke about “Strategic thinking in the real estate“The power of behavioral economics.”

Real estate agents had their space with the panel made up of Lucas Bergo, president of the Chamber of Real Estate Brokers of Córdoba (Cacic), and Lucas Péndola, head of the College of Real Estate Professionals of Córdoba (CPI), who debated the “Real Estate Vision of the “Córdoba market”.

“Dollars lose value day by day and it began to be uncomfortable to have them under the mattress. We are facing an opportune context to invest in finished properties,” said Bergo.

Within the framework of the event, the “Real estate discussion: realities and projections in the Cordoba market” was also held, with the participation of Mariana Geimonat, Marcos Marchi, Franco Strazza and Joaquín Malbran, moderated by Diego Dávila, from the Business section of The voice.

As expected, the return of mortgage credit and its impact on the market were part of the discussions. Specifically, it was economist Federico González Rouco who referred to the topic, when he spoke about “Macroeconomics and housing in 2024: the return to credit.”

The measure promoted by the national government was also praised by Damián Tabakman, president of the Business Chamber of Urban Developers (Cedu), who also highlighted the repeal of the rental law as another of the decisions that contributed to energizing the real estate market.

Mortgage loans at UVA were in the news again during the last activity of the event, prior to the dinner for the 20 years of Ceduc. Led by Osvaldo Levis and María Julia Martínez (Bancor), they detailed the different lines available. The presentation was moderated by Martín Teicher (Elyon Group).

Family businesses in the development and construction sector and generational change were other topics analyzed. For this purpose, three duos with vast experience in the subject were called: César Martínez and Sol Martínez (Grupo Betania), Carolina Bugliotti and Atilio Bugliotti (Bugliotti Desarrollos) and Evangelina Darsie and Oscar Darsie (Darsie). The panel “The construction industry: generations creating the city” was moderated by Josefina Sandoz (BCC).

The international chapter of the second day was in the hands of Sebastián Sánchez and Fabián Kopel (Kopel Sánchez), with the focus on the potential of the real estate market in Uruguay. Specifically, they shared the public policies that the neighboring country implemented to boost the development sector. Lucas Salim (Proaco Group) served as moderator, promoting the analysis of the public policies needed to energize the market, taking the example of the Promoted Housing Law of Uruguay, which promoted urban development and facilitated access to housing.

Next, the Secretary of Urban Development of the city of Buenos Aires, Álvaro García Resta, spoke about how to generate conditions for urban development.

The importance of urban planning for the sustainable development of cities was the axis that marked the speeches of the following panel, in which Pablo Balian (Construction Cluster), Diego Peralta (Secretary of Urban Development of the Municipality of Córdoba) and Matías Benedetti (Argentine Chamber of Construction), with the moderation of the vice-rector of the UNC, Mariela Marchisio.

Finally, the federal vision of the developmental sector was also the subject of debate. The panel was made up of Gonzalo Parga (Edisur Group), Rodolfo Dante (Aspa) and Roberto San Millan (North Group).
