Nariño Governorate brings humanitarian aid and health care to families confined in Madrigal, Policarpa

The Nariño Governorate, through the Undersecretary of Peace and Human Rights, traveled to the district of Madrigal, municipality of Policarpa, with 1,000 humanitarian aids to urgently address the basic needs of families who remained confined for 12 years.

With the support of the Policarpa Mayor’s Office, health care was provided for boys, girls, men and women, older adults, pregnant mothers and people with disabilities; Likewise, participatory spaces for dialogue were opened to follow up on the difficulties presented by the victims of the armed conflict that are in accordance with the projects with a restorative approach to the economy and the social fabric, proposed in the Development Plan and the actions that guarantee humanitarian minimums and human security.
