The project of the El Banco University, in the south of Magdalena, is advancing according to the estimates of the government of Rafael Martínez. Through a statement they reported that The work includes the lifting of the structure, masonry, panelsplumbing and electrical installations.
The University is 90% complete with its foundations and soil improvements, and 40% of its structure and exterior works. Thus, the administration said, the dream of the southerners of having an alma mater will come true.

“We are happy to see how day by day our new university headquarters is becoming a reality. Seeing this makes me very happy because when I finish high school I already have a place to study my professional career without leaving the municipality.. On behalf of all the students of El Banco we thank former Governor Carlos Caicedo and Governor Rafael Martínez for continuing this work that will lead to fulfilling our dreams of training professionally in our own municipality,” said Edian Martínez Gutiérrez, student.
The Public Work Monitoring Hearings indicate that there is no delay. Let us remember that it has a destination of 38 thousand 368 million pesos that will benefit 4,500 people from the southern subregion of the department.
