Two families, one from Guaymallén and another from San Martín, had to be assisted this Friday after carbon monoxide poisoning in their homes.

One case occurred in a property located on Barcelona Street, Guaymallen. According to official information, a woman contacted 911 to report that her granddaughter had fallen to the floor and was not reacting.

Police officers who were dispatched to the scene interviewed the minor’s parents, who admitted that they had lit a brazier in the room where their five children, aged between 2 and 12, slept.

The children were taken to Notti Hospital, where they were diagnosed with monoxide poisoning.

Meanwhile, one Palmyra family (San Martín) was admitted to the Perrupato hospital, also poisoned by monoxide. Preliminary information highlights that they had left a screen connected to the natural gas, which would have been turned off, causing a loss.

Among the boarding schools there is a small two-week one.
