In the last hours, Gendarmerie deployed a strong operation to rescue a person who was disoriented in the middle of the snow storm that has been recorded in the high mountains of Mendoza for weeks. The rescue area was the Penitents And in total there were three families that had to be rescued. The curious thing is that the incident happened two weeks ago and Bullrich only now commented on it.

“MENDOZA: HELP ON THE WAY! It all started with a telephone alert about a disoriented and lost citizen due to heavy snowfall in the area of Los Penitentes, Mendoza,” began Security Minister Patricia Bullrich about the operation.

“The search and rescue protocol was immediately activated. Specialized personnel from the GNA went to the area and, upon arrival, found that three families were stranded by the storm,” added the Javier Milei official.

They deployed a uniformed patrol: one group assisted the parents and children, evacuating them to the Reinforced Section of “Punta de Vacas”, while the rest of the troops continued with the mission of rescuing the lost man.

“The ascent began with snowshoes together with the Rescue Patrol of the Police of the Province of Mendoza. They not only fight against drugs and trafficking, they also protect and assist. At the service of good Argentines!” Bullrich concluded officially.
