“Personal biases or desires began to be seen in political matters from some internal sector of the JxC bloc, which generated a fairly extensive back and forth, and several topics were touched upon such as co-participation, the relationship between the municipal and provincial governments, and contrary to what the councilors have expressed, to the effect of those of us who are in management and working on the ground, the excellent relationship that exists between the Mayor and the governor,” said the president of the Deliberative Council, Martín Ebene, after yesterday’s session.
Ebene mentioned that there is excellent work and willingness with the blocks, although “we are struck by the tremendous dissociation between the Jxc councillors and the Provincial Executive. The willingness to dialogue and work as a team, and the willingness of the Province to the city and vice versa, and the support of the claims in the Nation are very far from what some councillors, not all of them, have expressed in this session.”
Specifically regarding the need for public works for the city, the current deputy mayor said: “It is true that there are delays in certain infrastructure works, but we are saying that it is the second fastest growing city in Argentina, but we see how this data has been used, and some of it has been distorted to undermine the figure of the current Mayor and the previous one.”
