The Prosecutor’s Office Specialized in Crimes Related to Acts of Corruption managed to have a public servant from the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection linked to the process, for the crime committed by public servants in the procurement and administration of justice.
The facts of which he is accused date back to February 15, 2022, when a complaint was filed against this official for being related to a nullity trial before the State Court of Administrative Justice, in which Ricardo “N” acted representing elements of the Secretariat of Public Security (now Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection).
Based on the above, it is proven that the accused improperly represented elements of the aforementioned Secretariat, which constitutes a conflict of interest when litigating matters against the Public Institution. This contravenes Article 132 of the Political Constitution of the Free and Sovereign State of San Luis Potosí.
The control judge considered the evidence presented by the agent of the Public Ministry of the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office to be sufficient, and therefore issued an order linking the accused to proceedings for crimes committed by Public Servants in the Procurement and Delivery of Justice.
In addition to this resolution, the judicial authority granted a precautionary measure requested by the Prosecutor’s Office, which implies the temporary suspension to practice as a law graduate litigating matters against the Ministry of Security and Citizen Protection.
