This morning the mayor and the governor signed a framework agreement to carry out infrastructure works in the Capital.

Gustavo Saenzgovernor of the province, maintained during the signing of the agreement that “this is the way.”

“This is the path that the people of Salta expect, this is the path that the Argentines expect and this is the path that I have always liked to follow. This is the path that I have demonstrated in all my administrations and I have demonstrated with facts that it is the best one,” he said.

The mayor Emiliano Durandfor his part, thanked the provincial government for its support in working towards the recovery of the City.

“The support we have received from the governor has been constant and at this time it is essential because it will allow us to carry out works that are very necessary for the city,” he said.

Among the works that will be carried out together is the new museum in the former Palúdica building, the completion of the Paseo de la Fe, the Irigoyen Canal, the Street Arrangement Plan, among others.

The objective, stated the communal chief, is for Salta to “be the capital of the north again.”

The signing was a framework agreement and, from there, the Municipality will develop specific agreements with the Ministry of Infrastructure, with the priorities established by Durand. The estimated investment is around 400 million.

“We are going to help the capital accordingly. We say that we prioritize this to accompany the people, who also expect infrastructure works, works that improve their quality of life and we have to find a way to do it,” added the governor.
