The reopening of Córdoba’s summer cinemas is postponed to Saturday due to the threat of rainManuel Murillo
We will have to wait one more day to go to the summer cinema in Córdoba. Neither the Fuenseca nor the Delicias cinema will show the two films that were planned tonight, ex husbands and Inside Out 2due to inclement weather.
The businessman Antonio Amil, in charge of managing the Esplendor Cinemas theaters this year after the agreement reached with the property, has just confirmed to this newspaper that the opening will be delayed one day due to the threat of rain which, according to the website that is used as a guide, is 80% between 9 and 10 p.m. During the month of June and July, screenings begin at 10:15 p.m. The box office and cinema doors will open at 9:15 p.m. and, as usual, there will be a break to stretch the legs and spend time in the ambigú.
Those who wish to do so can bring snacks to the cinema, although this season the gastronomic offer has been strengthened with new products, which will be tasted for the first time tomorrow. The entrance price is 5 euros from Monday to Friday and 5.50 euros on holidays and eves. The Fuenseca cinema (plaza Fuenseca 10) will screen Ex-husbands throughout the weekend and Delicias (calle Frailes 10), the film for children and families that has revolutionized the box office since its premiere in Spain last Friday Inside Out 2.

Amil, who regretted the situation, explained that everything was already set up and ready for the reopening of the cinemas, but he preferred to suspend “because there is a show prepared for the opening at the Fuenseca cinema and with rain it cannot be done.” In addition, he states that given the impossibility of opening one of the two cinemas (the other that was planned is the Delicias), he has preferred not to open any. The businessman has assured that on Saturday there will be surprises and news, although he did not want to reveal what they will consist of.
After a blank season and almost two years with the theaters closed, two of the four active summer cinemas with Martín Cañuelo will once again welcome the residents of Córdoba This Saturday, June 29, a week later than usual, while the adaptation work continues Olympia cinema for its reopening at the end of August with two shows that are already being worked on.
