Córdoba makes history by reigning in Andalusian beach soccer

The provincial beach soccer teams of Córdoba won four regional championships – juvenile, cadet, youth and women’s under 17 under 20 -, surpassing themselves and the milestone established in 2022, the date on which they won three championships, on that occasion in the categories benjamín, youth and senior female. In this edition, in addition, Seville was the winner in the children’s category and Málaga in the youngest category.

The provincial teams from Córdoba reigned supreme in the Andalusian Cup for provincial beach soccer teams that was held in the Cordoba towns of Alcaracejos and El Viso. They did so under the guidance of coaches José Ignacio Sánchez, Charaf Ennadi and Miguel Pizarro.

In addition, Jorge Salamanca (flights), Raúl Benavente (cadets), Pablo Carmona (youth) and Paqui Campoy (female sub17 sub20), won the MVP trophy in their respective categories.

The decisive matches

Córdoba beat Málaga in the youth final, in a duel decided in a penalty shootout. In the under-12 category, Córdoba won the title by beating Cádiz in the grand final (1-3).

Finally, the cadet and female sub-17-sub 20 categories were competed. In cadets, once again the penalty shots decided the winner in a final contested between Almería and Córdoba and in which Córdoba was once again the winner. In the U17-U20 women’s category, Almería and Córdoba also reached the final, winning the Córdoba team 7-4.
