CaliBunga Water Park Delays Opening in San José – Telemundo Bay Area 48

CaliBunga water park, formerly known as Raging Waters, located in San Jose announced on Friday that it will delay its opening date due to electrical problems in some of its attractions.

Mell Selles, manager of the park, assured through social networks that the new opening date will be Thursday, July 4.

“Unfortunately, yesterday afternoon we had some unexpected issues with some electrical issues. This resulted in several of our attractions being unable to open this weekend.”

Selles reported that they are working 24 hours a day to resolve the problems and thus be ready for the opening of the park.

“We apologize for the unforeseen circumstances that have caused us to be unable to open on time and appreciate your understanding and cooperation,” he said. “This is not the news you wanted to hear or that we wanted to share today, but we wanted to let you know as soon as possible.”

The agency also announced that people who purchased tickets to visit the park between July 29 and July 3 will receive an email with information regarding refunds and events scheduled for those days.

“We look forward to welcoming guests back to the park on Thursday when we can provide a safe and quality experience,” Sells said.
