A canoe paddle and four kayak paddles are part of the items delivered in Paipa.

This Friday at the cooling pools of Termopaipa – GENSA, the manager of Indeportes Boyacá, Fredy Holguín, together with the director of Sports Promotion and Development, Fernando López, and the methodologist Carlos Chalapud, delivered sports equipment to the athletes of the Boyacá Canoeing League.
In addition to delivering one canoe paddle and four kayak paddles, the Indeportes technical-administrative team spoke with the athletes and coaches about the projections for the current period.
These elements made of carbon, which amount to a value of 18 million pesos, will allow athletes to maintain optimal preparation for the next national events.
Victor Pacanchique, coach of the Boyacá Canoeing League, highlighted the importance of these oars.
“Thanks to Indeportes Boyacá we received five paddles for canoeing training, as well as a canoe paddle and four kayak paddles, essential for our paddlers to continue achieving great things. They are carbon fiber paddles, elements that are brought from Europe and have a very high economic value,” said Pacanchique.
Among the main conclusions of this visit, in which coaches Víctor Pacanchique and Darovy Acevedo were present, is that the department has been growing in its training process, thanks to the interest of young people in the practice of this award-winning discipline for Boyacá.
Darovy Acevedo comes to reinforce the department’s League on behalf of the agreement recently signed with Cuba.
Indeportes Boyacá appreciates the support received from GENSA to athletes to facilitate their training activities.
