This is the official statement on the state of health Laura Sarabia, director of Dapre

The Clínica del Country, in Bogotá, issued an official statement regarding the medical services provided to Laura Sarabia, director of the Administrative Department of the Presidency of the Republic, Dapre.

It mentions that on June 27, Sarabia Torres entered the clinic facilities to be evaluated by health professionals.

Although the statement does not mention whether the official had presented any alarm symptoms, the institution states that she is under medical observation, and that her condition is stable.

“His health condition does not compromise his life. The medical staff has been working diligently to ensure the well-being of the patient and provide high-quality medical care,” the Country clinic noted.

Which added that they respected the privacy of the patient’s clinical history, so they appreciated the understanding of the general public and the media.

“He even ended up in intensive care. He has suffered a violent attack via social media posts that the press has made official, turning them into news without investigating,” the president said.

Reiterating that “since they are trying to denigrate the President, to try to turn his decades-long struggle in parliament and in Congress against corruption, the worst that has ever existed in Colombia and which continues to exist, into a weapon, and try to show him as the opposite, as what he is not, then they are disregarding the honor of a person, of a young man who has nothing to do with us, simply to try to make the president look corrupt, which I am not, nor will I be.”
