Emotions and affections: presentation of a book by Gabriela Córdoba

Tribute to Vinicius: Agustina Ascárate sings in CiTá

Incaa Space: free French cinema
Tonight, at 9 p.m., in the Espacio Incaa in the Hynes O’Connor room of the Ente Cultural (San Martín 251), the documentary “En el Adamant” will be screened, which addresses the topic of psychiatric care. The film, directed by Nicolas Philibert and winner of the Golden Bear at the 2023 Berlin Film Festival, takes place on the Adamant, a floating structure located on the Seine River. Adults suffering from mental disorders are welcomed there, offering them the type of care that anchors them in time and space and helps them recover or maintain their spirits. The team that runs it tries to resist the deterioration and dehumanization of psychiatry as best it can. The film is part of the billboard of the 1st edition of the French Film Festival in Tucumán, organized by the French Alliance of the province on the occasion of its centenary, a series with free admission.
Literary landscapes: art and nature meet in San Javier
Between 11 and 18, the art, literature and nature meeting “Literary Landscapes” will take place today at the Suri Yacu Inn in San Javier, with free admission. The activity is coordinated by the Cultural Entity of Tucumán, through its Letters Directorate, and the Commune of San Javier, in collaboration with the Ministries of Education and the Interior of the Province, with the institutional purpose of “strengthening relations between the communities of the interior, promoting local writers, interacting with readers, promoting emerging and independent publishers and presenting books by Tucumán authors, all this combined in an outdoor day, of a recreational, reflective and educational nature, with music, gastronomy, entertainment and literature aimed at families, students and lovers of letters and art.”
The aim of the organisers is to ensure that the event continues over time, to visit various spaces and landscapes of Tucumán, in order to promote cultural identities in interaction with the environment, literature and tourism of the province.
The day will open with a “literary mate party,” for which participants are invited to bring mates and discussions among independent editors, while the fair is being set up.
At 1 p.m. there will be the official opening with speeches from officials, followed by a lunch in the hall of the inn with live music and narrations of regional stories by the group Tucucuentos Solidarios del Ente.
Then a Book Fair will open, and a game of searching for books hidden in the surroundings (contributed by the participating publishers) will be played, with outdoor readings on pillows, puffs and armchairs. Starting at 3 p.m., the “Reading the Other” table will take place, coordinated by Zaida Kasaab and Daniel Ocaranza (editors of Puerta Roja Ediciones and Falta Envido Ediciones), followed by the presentation of “A lo mejor soy yo,” with poetry by Federico Ríos. .
“Readings by their authors” will consist of texts edited by the Aconquija Editorial Fund (“Mamá es mia,” by Miguel Siso Fernández; “Panes wet,” by Sergio Lizárraga; and “The rest belongs to the birds,” Patricia Mora). For the last section, the book “People from here” will be presented, with literary productions by students of different ages and schools from the municipality of Yerba Buena and then the closing of the day will be finalized with live music with the folk singer María Vidala and guests.
Casa Barda: second day of the music and lyrics cycle
The singer Pablo Pacífico -photo- will be one of the participants of the second day of Casa Barda (Córdoba 284) from 10 p.m., in the Music and Lyrics cycle. Tonight’s lineup Gastón Pourrieux, Pablo Santi, Germán Paz, Nancy Pedro, Bardonuevo and Nico Argonz, each with his personal contribution in the compositions and interventions.
Theatre: comedy and drama
Three women burn with stress, but they will look for a way to get out together of the emotional pit in which they find themselves in “Estresadas”, the comedy performed by Natalia Yapura, Carla Marengo and Carla Greta, written by Víctor Hugo Cortés and co-directed with Benjamín Tannuré Godward , which will be revived at 10 p.m. at the Rosita Ávila Municipal Theater (Las Piedras 1,550). At the same time, in El Pulmó (Córdoba 86) Carlos María Alsina will present his latest premiere, “Another World”, with the performances of Federico Cerisola, Anahí Rodríguez and Golo Saifan in a work to laugh and think.
Folklore: a tour of the rocks
Julio Palacios (photo) will perform with his magic reeds at the Casa de la Cultura de Yerba Buena (Las Higueritas 1,850) in a free recital organized by Sadaic (Argentine Society of Authors and Composers), with songs from different musical genres, mainly Andean and folk music, but also movie songs and Beatles classics, played on the quena, quenacho, sikus and pan flute. Rodrigo Rodríguez will be tonight from 10pm at Los Arrayanes (Sarmiento and Lavalle, Banda del Río Salí), together with Julio Torres, in a new folk night in Tucuman peñas.
At La Casa de Yamil (España 153) the shows of Lumay, Hondo Sentimiento and Corazón Gaucho are announced; and at La 9 (9 de Julio 345), Los Ribereños, David Robles and Nando el Salteño.
El Alto de la Lechuza (Marco Avellaneda and 24 de Septiembre) will receive Pablo Santi, accompanied by Agapito, Disonantes, Alma Zafrera and Manolo Herrera.
In El Cardón (Las Heras 50) it will be the night of Tafinando; while in Lo de la Paliza (Laprida 181) Sofia Ascarate will sing.
A different circus: performances of “Fantasy on Ice”
More than 15 artists on stage display complex circus acrobatics in the show “Fantasía sobre ice”.
