Preliminary information indicates that the earthquake began at 00:21 hours (local time) on Saturday, June 29 and had a depth of 40.0 kilometers.
The epicenter coordinates were recorded at -70.329 degrees longitude and -24.018 degrees latitude, according to CNS data.
